CHECK LIVE BUS TIMES
The First Bus App is the best way to get live bus times and route information. You can save your favourite stops, routes and locations and revisit recently searched journeys. The map shows the bus stops nearby where you can see live updates to check where and when your bus is coming letting you head to your bus stop just before your bus is due.

Ratings and reviews

It's not easy to change stops on the map once you've chosen a stop. It's also quite confusing with the eastbound etc and the compass is very small. There might be a better way to do it. It would also be good if you could search for a bus and be given it's stops along the route. A lot of work I imagine but it would really help in city centres where there are a lot of stops.

Horrible new UI, I don't understand why they changed the UI so dramatically. Clicking a bus stop and not just providing a list of buses is insane. I am usually after one bus so I do not need to know the location of all departing buses. The old UI did look dated but it was very practical. I think the map should be optional to see where the one bus you're interested in is shown. I found it simpler to open the app and be presented with saved stops. Now it's a map and two clicks away to see depart.

The app seems to be pretty much accurate with the live bus tracker. For how often I use it. It certainly is better than the old way when you turn up at the bus stop and hope the bus comes. Can plan the journey to work and home with ease and no stress basically knowing exactly what time to go out of the house etc, to get the bus. You can plan your day much better with this. I don't work for First Bus, honest😁
