The FreeStyle LibreLink app has been approved for use with the FreeStyle Libre and FreeStyle Libre 2 system sensors.
You can measure your glucose level by scanning the sensor with your phone.
Now, FreeStyle Libre 2 system sensor users can get automatic glucose readings that update every minute in the FreeStyle LibreLink app, as well as receive alarms when their glucose is low or high. [1][2]
You can use the FreeStyle LibreLink app to:
* view your current glucose reading, trend arrow and glucose history
* receive low or high glucose alarms with the FreeStyle Libre 2 system sensors [2]
* view reports, such as Time in Range and Daily Patterns
* share your data with your doctor and family, with your permission [3]
COMPATIBILITY WITH SMARTPHONES
Compatibility may vary between phones and operating systems. Learn more about compatible phones at http://FreeStyleLibre.com.
USING THE APP AND A READER WITH THE SAME SENSOR
Alarms can only be generated on the FreeStyle Libre 2 reader or the phone (not both). To receive alarms on your phone, you must launch the sensor with the app. To receive alarms on the FreeStyle Libre 2 reader, you must start the sensor with the reader. Once the sensor has been initialized with the reader, you can also scan that sensor with the phone.
Remember that the app and readers do not share data with each other. For one device to have all the information, scan the sensor every 8 hours with that device; Otherwise, the reports will not include all the data. You can upload and view data from all devices on LibreView.com.
