Horrible service, we have had to pay a penalty in our train to Stansted airport, because we had paid our tickets with contactless instead of buying physical tickets. We found no info whatsoever mentioning this policy, and have had to pay 41 £ each. The customer service team have been of no help at all, as they argued it is their policy… even though we had no clue of this policy until we’ve been obliged to pay the penalty. Great means to get money from tourists who travel legally
