SleepRight is a private sleep journal and CBT-I-lite toolkit. No wearable. No microphone. No accelerometer. Just a two-tap log and the tools that genuinely move the needle on sleep — consistency, wind-down, caffeine timing, and a stimulus-control checklist.
WHAT IT DOES
• Log a night in two taps — quick "Slept well" / "Not so well" cards, optional tags (stress, caffeine, screens, exercise, travel, shift work), and a longer dream/note field when you want it.
• Track sleep debt — set a target (default 8 hours), see your rolling 7-day balance against it. Neutral readout, no scolding.
• Insights — duration line chart, bedtime-consistency heatmap, sleep balance, average sleep, sleep efficiency. Standard tier covers the 7-day window; 30 and 90-day windows on the upgrade.
• Wind-down builder — design your own routine (dim lights, phone away, stretch, read, tea), set a total duration, and get a single bedtime notification that walks you through the steps.
• Caffeine cutoff — set bedtime + caffeine half-life buffer, the app tells you "last coffee by X:XX".
• CBT-I-lite tools — sleep restriction calculator, stimulus-control checklist (the five evidence-based rules), and a brain-dump pad for racing thoughts at lights-out.
• Shift-worker mode — multiple sleep targets per week, rotating-shift template (4-on-4-off and friends), pre-shift anchor sleep planning.
• PDF export — 30 or 90-day journal as a printable PDF you can bring to a sleep clinic appointment.
WHO IT'S FOR
• People who tried Sleep Cycle or Pillow and found the phone-on-the-bed pattern uncomfortable, inaccurate, or invasive.
• Insomniacs working through CBT-I material who want a simple companion log, not a coach.
• Nurses, pilots, oil-rig workers, and anyone on a rotating shift schedule who needs to plan around the body clock instead of fighting it.

NO WEARABLE NEEDED
SleepRight does not read any sensor. There is no microphone, no accelerometer, no Health Connect ingestion. You tap the time you went to bed and the time you woke up. That is the entire input pipeline.
PRIVACY
Sleep entries live on your device in a local database. Anonymous crash reports and screen analytics are sent to Google for debugging — you can switch them off in Privacy Mode. Tap "Delete all data" in Settings to wipe everything in one action.
