The app has been a great help in reading, troubleshooting, and clearing codes. The Monitor saved alot of time and driving when determining if the monitor tests are complete and the vehicle is ready for emmisions testing.
Love the customization of the gauges, but tired of all these scan programs not having vehicle specific pids for my vehicle. I don't understand why this isn't ever an on going process of apps updating their pids. Instead they put out the most common domestic and rest on their laurels and leave it at that. I'm sure I'm missing something. Yes, you can enter in your vehicle and get generic saw data, but something tells me it's not reading the right data for the correct sensors because it's using a catch-all fits all approach. How can my battery voltage be 12.9v while my ecu voltage is 14.1v? Alternator output would be read at the battery while driving. If there is a way to crack the pids of my vehicle so I don't have to wait on someone else to do it ever, I'd sure like to know how.
Excellent diagnostic tool
Great app! I have been using it for a while now. The only thing I would like to see it do is add more manufacturer specific code interpretations. The generic ones do get me in ballpark on VW Beetle. But Im not a great guesser.
It wasen't connecting at all... Whatever I did... Luckily after the update, the issues got fixed. The only negative thing is that there is a 1 second delay in the readings. If that could be fixed it would be perfect!
