The app isn't necessary. It took me a bit to figure out that I had to click the "media output" on my S23 to switch the audio output to my earbuds. If you have an active (but not useful) data connection the app simply won't work and keeps telling you to login. I had this issue on a flight and discovered that if you put the phone in airplane mode it works fine! I just tried it on my pixel 9 pro and Nebula fights with Google's screen mirroring, so it looks like I don't need this.

Requires every android permission under the sun, including installing unknown apps for some reason. When I was finally able to get it to launch, it lagged my phone so much I had to physically unplug the glasses. That was before I was even able to get into the AR space at all. It now only gives me an error message saying that my device was incompatible. I have a Samsung S22 Ultra, which is clearly listed as a fully supported device.

After paying $700 then finally receiving the xreal ultra glasses, unfortunately, they don't really work. As for the hardware, the field-of-view is greater than the optics allows for, so the corners of the screen are cut off or blurry. This is a big problem when trying to use with a computer. On Android, the sound doesn't work, having the glasses connected causes video the stutter, and nebula fails to connect. All in all, just not a good product.
