OPTIONAL ON-SCREEN RESEARCH
With your explicit consent, Datapods uses Android's AccessibilityService API to collect visible screen text and elements, taps, scrolling, screen changes, text in search and other input fields as you type, and app and device details. Collection is limited to the apps on our research list and starts only after you consent in Datapods and enable its accessibility service in Android settings. Password fields are excluded; messaging and email apps are not on the list. The data is sent to Datapods and stored for consumer and market research. Research customers receive only aggregated, de-identified findings, never your raw screen content or input. The service reads content and interactions without performing actions for you. Participation is optional: use Datapods without consenting, and stop collection anytime in Connections, Permissions or Android settings.
