Discuto is for better disagreement: take a stance, post evidence-minded arguments, and practice privately before you go public. It is for students, professionals, and anyone who wants constructive, evidence-minded discussion — not dunking. You must be 13 or older. Discuto does not show ads.

PRACTICE BEFORE YOU POST
Five private tools to rehearse, then bring your best thinking to a live discussion:
• Strengthen My Idea — a coach helps sharpen your claim, assumptions, and evidence
• Argue the Other Side — you steelman the opposing view; a coach scores that steelman
• Debate — a straightforward back-and-forth with an opponent
• Convince Me — try to move one step on a belief spectrum
• Middle Ground — negotiate a compromise both sides could accept
Persona Bridge is separate: it helps you understand a post in your own voice and check how a reply might land. It does not guarantee the reply is persuasive.
LEARN ARGUMENT SKILLS
Short videos on constructive discussion, frameworks including LAPP, NVC, and the Socratic method, and a logical fallacies guide with examples, how to counter them, and quizzes.
EARN TRUST THROUGH CONTRIBUTION
Reputation levels run from Newcomer to Consensus Builder. Points come from argument quality scores, not from popularity or agreement. Upper levels also require bridging work such as steelmans, self-critiques, and “shifted my view” reactions from other people.
FREE AND PAID
Read and browse without an account. Sign in to vote, argue, practice, and sync across devices. Free includes discussions, voting, reputation, search, and Learn, plus an AI allowance for analysis and Practice. Optional Pro and Elite plans with a larger AI allowance are billed on the web, not as an Android in-app purchase.
