About this app

Learn morse code the fun way. MorseKit is a gamified morse code trainer and translator that teaches you to read, decode and send real CW and telegraph signals through audio-first lessons. No boring tables, just bite-sized practice that sticks.

LEARN MORSE CODE STEP BY STEP
Progress through 12 levels covering the full morse code alphabet, numbers, punctuation, prosigns and Q-codes. Each lesson follows a proven 5-step loop: see it, hear it, recognize it, send it, then use it in real words. Built on the Koch method and Farnsworth timing, this is the science-backed way to learn morse code fast.

MORSE TRANSLATOR, DECODER & ENCODER
A built-in morse code translator turns text into morse and back. Decode morse code from audio in real time, encode any message to morse, play it out loud, then copy or share it. Your pocket morse encoder and decoder is ready to encode or decode any signal.

GAMES & DAILY CHALLENGE
Make practice addictive. Race the clock in Speed Round and Word Blitz, then crack the Daily Morse Challenge: a new word every day that you can share. Earn XP, climb 15 operator ranks, keep your streak alive and finish daily quests.

FLASHLIGHT MORSE & SIGNAL TOOLS
Turn your phone into a morse code flashlight. The built-in encoder takes your text and your LED torch blinks it out in real morse code. Flash an SOS with the flashlight signal, send a quick torch message, practice silently in vibration mode, or keep the alphabet chart one tap away. A handy morse code flashlight and torch signaling tool for Scouts, campers and emergencies.

REAL TELEGRAPH FEEL
A real-time sound generator and oscillator deliver authentic CW audio. Set your tone and adjustable WPM (5-20 WPM), and key with a straight key or iambic paddle, with haptic feedback on every dit and dah. Works offline, and your progress syncs across devices.

SMART, PERSONAL LEARNING
A spaced repetition system (SM-2) tracks your weak letters and schedules reviews, so you learn morse code faster with less effort.

FOR EVERY OPERATOR
Whether you are a total beginner learning morse code from scratch, a Scout earning a badge, or sharpening your CW and telegraph speed, MorseKit grows with you. Decode signals in real time, flash messages with your flashlight torch, and master the morse code alphabet one short session at a time.

MORSEKIT PREMIUM (FIELD OPERATOR)
Go further with unlimited hearts, an ad-free experience, faster speeds and double rewards.

Available in 22 languages. Download MorseKit and decode your first signal today.

Great app if you wanna learn morse code . I really like the way it started training by getting the easiest letters made by the least number of characters like E (.) and T(-) . It will be pretty hard at the start if you don't change the speed at which the characters play. Btw the streak counts only if you complete the daily missions , it's not like duolingo where you complete just a lesson. ._ _.. .. ___ ...

Thank you so much for your wonderful review! 💛 It truly means a lot to us that you’re enjoying your journey into the world of CW (Morse code) with MorseKit. We’re constantly improving the app to provide a better and more enjoyable learning experience. Keep reading, keep sending, and most importantly, enjoy the rhythm of the signal.

The app is full of basic bugs that should not have got to production. The hearts don't refill, the watch add button does not work, the input signal mode is very janky, the different speed modes in word guess are exactly the same... And overall, the app looks like it was designed and coded by AI with little human supervision. Not saying to not use AI or anything, but the AI feel of the app is huge.

Thank you for the detailed feedback. You’re right that the current version still has rough edges. A major update is coming very soon with dual paddle input, improved responsiveness, and proper Farnsworth timing controls. Ads were intentionally disabled for now. We’d really appreciate it if you try the update and reconsider your rating afterward.

I have absolutely no reason to be learning morse other than I find it very cool. The app's great, way better than the green owl. The only problem is during the lessons when it asks me to type letters with the button in morse I can never get it right, I still can't tell if it's broken or I just suck at it. Keep up the great work!!

Thank you so much for the kind words, we really appreciate it! And don't worry the typing in lessons trips up some of our users, so you're not alone there. We're already reworking that part of the UX for an upcoming update. In the meantime, if it's bothering you, you can enable Listen-Only mode in Settings. Glad to have you on board!
