Val monitors voice and messages for bullying, predatory contact
patterns, and signs of distress. Audio is processed on-device —
nothing is recorded or transmitted.

PERMISSIONS & TRANSPARENCY

Shel™ uses a local VPN connection solely to redirect DNS queries
to our family-safe DNS servers. No browsing traffic is monitored,
collected, or routed through external servers.

Shel™ uses Android's Accessibility Service to detect on-screen
content and captions for inappropriate material. No personal data
is collected or transmitted via this service.
