About this game

Stop! is the classic categories game everyone has played on paper: a random letter, a list of categories and a race to fill them all. Now the phone sits in the middle of the table with a letter wheel, a timer and the scoreboard, while everyone writes on paper. Playing alone? Try the solo mode against the clock, with a built-in dictionary.

GROUP GAME (2 to 8 players)
• Type each player's name (or keep "Player 1", "Player 2"...).
• Pick the number of rounds (3, 5, 7 or 10) and the time per round (1, 1.5, 2 or 3 minutes, or no timer).
• Spin the stone wheel: it picks the letter and never repeats a letter in the same game. Hard letters (Q, X, Y, Z) are off the wheel by default; you can put them back.
• Everyone writes one word starting with that letter for each category. Whoever finishes first hits the STOP! shield. When time runs out, the phone vibrates and sounds.
• Mark the points player by player: 10 for an answer only you wrote, 5 when someone wrote the same, 0 for blank or invalid. "All 10" and "All zero" buttons make it quick.
• Scoreboard after every round and a winner at the end, with ties when they happen.
• The game is saved: if the screen turns off or the app closes, just tap "Resume game".

CATEGORIES
• 7 classics: first name, city/state/country, animal, fruit or food, color, object and job.
• Create your own categories (up to 8) and pick up to 10 per game.
• Extra pack with 7 more (body part, sport or game, musical instrument, plant, sweet or dessert, clothing or accessory, means of transport): watch an optional ad and it stays unlocked for 24 hours.

SOLO AGAINST THE CLOCK
• The wheel picks the letter and you type a word for 6 categories on the game keyboard, in 60, 90 or 120 seconds.
• The built-in dictionary checks your answers: accents, capital letters and simple plurals don't matter.
• 10 points per right answer and, if you get them all, a bonus for the seconds left. A record is kept for each time limit.
• The result shows what counted and example words that would have worked.

• English, Portuguese and Spanish, each with its own dictionary.

• Ads never while the timer runs: only between rounds, plus the optional one for the extra pack. No purchases in this version.

Player and category names you type stay on your device. Ads are served by Google AdMob; the game also sends anonymous usage events, with no names and no typed text. See the privacy policy.
