Divide a Conta takes the headache out of splitting costs after a trip, a dinner, a party or living with roommates. Add who paid for what and the app instantly shows how much each person spent, who owes whom and the way to settle everything with the fewest transfers.

GROUPS FOR EVERYTHING
• Trips, home, couples, parties, group gifts: each group with its own emoji, color, currency and people.
• Mark which person is you and see right at the top how much you are owed or how much you owe.
• Finished groups go to Archived and stay there for reference.

ADD AN EXPENSE IN SECONDS
• The amount field opens with the number pad. Then just a description, who paid and who is in.
• Categories with icons (food, groceries, drinks, transport, lodging, fun, bills…); the app suggests one from the name.
• Split equally among the people involved, by weight (child 0.5, double portion 2) or by exact amounts.
• Cents done right: the shares always add up to the expense and all balances always add up to zero.

BALANCES AND SETTLING UP
• Each person's balance in green (gets back) or red (owes), with what they paid and their share.
• Suggested payments with the fewest transfers, split into "You" and "Others".
• Mark as paid, with undo, and a history of payments.

SHARE AND REQUEST
• Add how each person gets paid (account, handle or e-mail).
• Send a ready-made request: "Ryan, you owe Mike $56.58", with the payment info.
• Share the whole group summary: total, balances and who pays whom.
• In Brazil, the app also creates the Pix copy-and-paste code with the exact amount, right on your phone.

STATS
• Group total, average per person and biggest expense.
• Chart by category and how much each person paid and consumed.

• Search and filter by person and by category.
• Polished light and dark themes.
• English, Portuguese and Spanish; each group has its own currency (dollar, euro, real, peso and more).
• Backup: export and import your groups to a file to keep or move to another phone.
• Works offline. No sign-up, no login and no limit on expenses. Your data stays on your device.
• Only one person needs the app: whoever organizes adds everything and sends the requests.

Divide a Conta only does the math: it never moves money or makes payments.

The app shows ads (Google AdMob): a discreet banner and, once in a while, a full-screen ad after you share. Never while you are adding an expense.

What’s new

New: when typing an expense amount the decimal point is added for you (type 2550 and it shows 25.50). Fixed: the bottom bar was too tall on some Samsung phones.
