Truco: Legends is Brazilian Truco (São Paulo rules) for your phone, offline, against computer opponents. A 40-card deck, the trump card (manilha) set by the turned card, best of 3 tricks and matches to 12 points. The table sits in the Lame Raven Tavern, in Dunmarch, a mist-covered kingdom where every opponent has a style of their own.
HOW TO PLAY
• Play 1 vs 1 or in teams (2 vs 2), with Ned the Smith as your partner.
• Tap a card to play it. Your trumps glow in your hand so you never lose track.
• Shout TRUCO! and the hand is worth 3. The other side accepts, folds or raises to six, nine and twelve.
• When they raise against you, choose: accept, fold or raise again. In teams, Ned tells you if he is strong or weak.
• Hand of eleven: at 11 points your team looks at its cards (your partner's too) and decides whether to play for 3.
• Iron hand: at 11 to 11, cards are played blind and the winner takes the match.
• Tied tricks follow the São Paulo rules, explained in the tutorial.
OPPONENTS WITH PERSONALITY
• Wat the Sentry plays it safe. Bess the Innkeeper loves a bluff. Lady Elswith keeps her strong card for later. Sir Godric remembers the cards already played and how often you shouted for nothing. King Osric the Blind is the toughest of all.
• They shout, accept, fold and tease you with short lines.
• The computer never sees your cards: at the end of every hand everyone's cards are shown on the table.
CAMPAIGN AND QUICK MATCH
• A 5-stage campaign, each stage with a stronger opponent, short story scenes and 3 stars for goals (win without folding, win raised hands, keep your opponent's score low).
• Quick match in three levels (easy, medium and hard), 1 vs 1 or in teams, with your win and loss history.
• Hint: shows the suggested move and the estimated chance of the hand. It costs 10 coins; you start with 30 and earn more by winning.
EASY TO READ
• Large cards with clear ranks and suits.
• High contrast mode: white cards and suits in four colors.
• Fast opponents option for quicker matches.
• Three card backs to choose from: raven, crown and torch.
