local.ch is the official phone book app for Switzerland.
The local.ch app lets you identify incoming calls, detect and even block unwanted telemarketing calls. You can also quickly and easily find telephone numbers and addresses of private individuals, companies and services in Switzerland and Liechtenstein. You can use this app to start calls, view your call history and identify incoming calls that are not in your address book. Thanks to our caller identification features, you always know who is calling you and can avoid annoying telemarketing calls. Optionally, the app can automatically block known and verified spammers.
To give the best possible experience we use permissions which let you make phone calls, manage your contacts, check your call history and see who is calling you. In no way we do anything malicious.. See below our required detailed permissions.
Network communication:
We need internet connectivity. Without it the app would not work.
Services that cost you money:
If you are starting phone calls from within our app, you must pay your usual communication fees. One might call this the second most important permission of our app, after network connectivity. Without this permission, it would not be possible to directly make phone calls from an entry within the app.
Your location:
We need to know your location so that you can search around yourself. Without this permission we would not be able to tell you where is the closest business you may be interested in.
Your personal information and your account:
This is needed for you to add and merge entries to you address book's account of choice, and for looking up entries that are already stored in your address book. Without this we would not be able to do that.
Phone calls:
This gives our Android users a unique feature, which is to tell them who is calling when there is an incoming phone call from an unknown number (a number which is not stored on your address book).

I gave the app all permissions that it needs and I have activated settings like "block telemarketing calls" and "show incoming calls info". Unfortunately, the app does not block telemarketing (even if it recognizes the number as telemarketing) and does not show info on the incoming call. Please fix, since these are (along with the phone number search) the main features

It is not working! I've allowed the app with all the permissions required but the app is not able to block or even detect call center call. The Apple app was working , the android one is not.

Only in case the phone number registered in some other person phone than you can see the number name but if the number new absolutely doesn't find can't ever so you bought it in your phone and they will take all your contacts number 😉 and valve it in the application so what we write we will see it live 😉
