horrible user interface, maps are not stored in any recognizable order, not alphabetical, not numeric, not geographic, totally random. No way to overlay satellite imagery, have to go to another app for that. only thing it shows is a single 7.5 quad topo at a time. you have to guess what the adjacent one is and hunt for it within the app, lame!

It's very disappointed that Avenza is discontinuing the use of uploaded custom pdf maps for the free version. I've been using this app for this very reason to navigate sites and take, record, and export data. For folks who are still using it in this manner, go to your Google play store, search for the avenza app, click the three dots, and unselect 'Enable auto updates' this may prevent this change from taking place.

The Sterling Forest (Map 100) started acting up, does not hold GPS location. I am in a certain location and the blue dot is stuck in a completely different location with a big blue halo circle around the blue dot. This started happening a few weeks ago, this map worked great for years, don't know how they screwed it up with the last software update, but that seems to be the case. I have un-installed it and reinstalled it, same issue. G. maps works fine, which means my GPS works fine on my phone.
