Sometimes notifications aren't shown until i open the app so it doesn't always "push" notifications - unsure if this update had fixed it?
Perhaps a "are you sure you want to exit" prompt on back button press. Or a slide in of the side bar instead of just exiting the app. Other than that all good.
Missing some features from the desktop version, and I just spent 30 minutes in total trying to sign in because of: magic link not working, auth codes coming in batches with a delay, site complaining about the number of login attempts (yeah, right -- your auth codes don't work), app not accepting correct auth codes with some weird unhelpful errors. Why does the number at the end of my password gets automatically inserted into the "Authentication code" field?!
App works great but I have all notication settings on and I've even set slack to priority for notifications. But for some reason no notifications are showing until I open the app, I saw your reply to someone else and I checked I still have notifications on in vibrate and light in my app settings too.
You can't quick reply from the notification screen. No multi coloured bubble speech layout. No uploaded image editing. A notification actually comes up saying image uploaded successfully. 30% of the time image upload is unsuccessful. The layout of image in the conversation reminds me of Windows 3.1
This app is great! It is however a bit inconsistent compared to the desktop version- some features such as "All Threads" and "All Unreads" are only on specific devices sadly. Also, I hear stories of an "Apps" tab on iOS but have not seen it myself.
Slack 2.30.0 Release Notes:
