When it works it's a nice app to use. Vital for company comms. However recently I've had to uninstall and reinstall a few times as it either doesn't connect to the internet (when everything else is fine) or just crashes when opened for no reason.
??Your file was uploaded — it’s safe and sound in Slack. Unfortunately your workspace doesn’t have any storage space left. To get more space, you can upgrade to a paid account or delete some of your older files. Ok iv deleted every file spam bot still shows not happy with it
What the hell happened? I'm stuck in an infinite loop of trying to log in. I have 2FA turned on and use the Firefox Focus app on Android 6. Why does an app even need to farm out the login process to the browser? Fix this nonsense please!
Lacks : any useful form of communication integration outside the app; no sms, email (can be gained when buying a standard plan, but what's the point) or calls. Many of the "service's" outside the app to make it useful is also a charged subscription. In short not useful for companies between the 50-100 employee ranges, with the added stink of cheap marketing tricks and limited new user "features" to really test your patience.
No matter how many times I try I cant turn off notifications for group DMs which is really annoying. Either I put no alerts, or else all messages show up
Since the late update I can only log in less than 50% of the time. Always redirect back to the home screen. Cannot access any of my work groups. Worked fine before update.
Slack 2.48 Release Notes:
• Group conversations were not sending notifications as often as they should. Now they correctly respect the notification settings you’ve set, and should therefore get lost less often.
