The app used to work quite nicely and was very intuitively designed. Now it's followed a "hide all functions under a single button" type of philosophy. The servers are slow, the SMS OTP system doesn't work if you're not in Vietnam, the biometric doesn't work if your phone has root or jailbreak (even though other banks still work), and their SmartOTP app is picky of what your phone model is (even when yours is not modified). The app is horrible to use now compared to a few months ago.

Are you not paying the testers or what? The app is faulty, the fingerprint feature doesn't work, and after successful activation, it works for a few days, then it asks for an OTP code again. There's no fingerprint option when making transfers anymore.

Vietcombank seems to hold my foreign credit deliberately without a clear and valid reason. I don't know if their work pace is too slow to load my account's credit or they have to cover it for any reasons but the banker refused to disclose my credit from overseas and the app has been showing zero credit about that specific transaction for a week straight. I don't know when i can get my righteous money from Vietcombank. This is the last time i use this bank. If i receive it,i'll delete my account.
