I am unsure if US or non Vietnam residents have the same issue. When booking flights through the app, the flight information is not easily accessible. The only way to look up the information is by entering the confirmation or ticket number. I reached out to the customer service department via the chat option. The delay in response is horrible. The chat will restart with a new agent due to time out, which, again, it's due to the horrible response time. Customer service needs to improve.

I was so excited as a Viet Kieu to have a Vietnam Airlines flight for the first time ever. This app is extremely behind and dysfunctional. I'm unable to even login because of the weirdest and abnormal error "Telephone number must start with O, please check again." It's almost like the developers are sabotaging the app because this in no way makes sense, and this isn't even an error code that would show up. I had to book through Chase Bank, and I recommend others go through theirs.

typical Vietnam it tries to imitate what it seems is the world standard. I tried to use it for baggage update. book a new trip. manage an existing booking. they all failed.. just like the website with never-ending information. but limited practicality.. don't bother loading it go straight to the website. which is also limited in usefulness.
