The only reason I'm giving it a 1 star is because I want tech support to see it. The application is destroying my battery life. Verizon, Google Pixel. It uses, on average, 45% of my total battery life. Please get it working right. Otherwise 5 star on actual design.
Complete garbage. I cannot get this app to show my card after logging in. Calling the 866 number it points you to is useless, two calls to them resulted in zero assistance in getting my issues resolved. I have an old login with email/password but they can't delete the account so I can create a new one and maybe bring up personalized items like my card, my cars, etc.. Update: I figured out how to "delete' my old login/password account (I logged in on a desktop and changed the email to a bogus one there). I then created a "new" account with the new AAA number. I can now log in but you can't log in via the membership login in the upper right hand corner. And now I have a bogus 'stuck' active request with no ETA I cannot remove. As others have said, BATTERY HOG. I saw my battery go down 5% in 5 minutes of usage of the app, I force stop it when not in use. The previous revs did not have this issue. This app an example of horrible coding.
This app is practically useless. No way to turn on push notifications to receive updates about my roadside assistance request. Map slider to place your location moves me when all I wanted to do was reposition the screen: it stays stuck in the center so it moves when you move the map. Not an intuitive way to navigate, and basically impossible to set my location correctly. And my keyboard pops out at inconvenient and irrelevant times... I'm stranded in the middle of moving here, folks. Do better.
I liked the app, but was pretty disappointed in the AAA service the very first time I used it after a year of membership. I used the AAA app to set the breakdown point of my vehicle a little after 10 am, my vehicle wasn't on a tow truck until 2pm.
First off, AAA is a fantastic member service organization and I've used several of their services, that said, this App isn't one of their bright spots. AAA refuses to release the source code (which is not very transparent for a member-service organization, especially one that requests access to my camera and contacts). AAADrive also fails to record many of my trips (typically when my service is spotty). The UI is quite good and it hasn't crashed on me yet, which is more than I can say for many apps.
Tried multiple times keeps giving me bull about not having a valid zip code which ive known for years now cause i havent moved so wtf
