Adding to the growing list of users that are unable to access their accounts. I opened my account recently, was at the bank trying to sort out everything before I left. It kept crashing, and the associate told me to try it at home, which I did. It kept crashing. Made another trip to the bank, again it still keeps crashing. Cleared the cache, uninstalled and re-installed and still nothing. Absa has to be aware that this is happening to so many. Aggravating to say the least.

Easily one of the worst banking apps I have encountered and so clearly a rushed launch gone bad. Statements are inconsistent, sometimes there, sometimes not. The authentication process is unreliable, and don't even get me started on trying to transfer authentication to a new device. It's a nightmare. The app is laggy and the overall experience feels unfinished. I have contacted customer service multiple times and gotten nowhere, I stopped. Other banking apps on the market are miles ahead.

I got this app immediately after I opened my account around August 2024. It's quite fast in response and does not buffer and easy to use. I, however, would like the ability to change my login username. Also, if I can get rid of the pop-up notification about logging in with my bio data(fingerprint), it would be 100% efficient for me.
