This is, by far, the most useless app. I hope the developers and their management team were not allowed within site of the code used on the flight systems. The only function of the app is to use it as a laggy, slow, and less effective alternative to the remote built into the seat armrest. You cannot use the app to stream the airplane audio to your own headphones via a phone, nor mirror a phone's video to the seatback screen. Somehow less than WORTHLESS. Cheers!

App unfortunately redirects to a domain squatter unaffiliated with Aer Lingus if you attempt to use it before takeoff while still connected to a cellular network. You must turn on airplane mode then switch on only WiFi and the onboard WiFi redirects to a local server. Hilariously, you must have already downloaded the app in advance of departure, as the fake redirect landing page doesn't include a way to install the app. The app functionality is otherwise fine.

This app is extremely slow and use way too much data just to look up what entertainment is available. It used 1.5 gb in just 15 minutes of trying to look at a list of movies and tv shows.
