Afterpay is Brilliant. App is unnecessary. Using the website on my phone is much more user friendly, I don't have to fight through heaps of ads to try find the way to see my upcoming payments. I don't understand the reason for the app. And it's one of those horrendous ones where you can't close out of it.

I love the convenience of paying in instalments. However, the actual payments have become almost impossible. Over & over, when I attempt to pay, I get this annoying "Oops! Something went wrong!" message, regardless of the account I try, and despite there being money available. Very frustrating when paying manually, but when an automated payment doesn't go through, it accrues charges. The support bot is pretty much useless.

Painstakingly slow. I'm on a Samsung Galaxy S 25 Ultra. It's a fast phone and all apps are lightning quick. Well, almost all of them. Afterpay takes up to 10 seconds just to load in so uou can do anything. Then each step from there takes a long time as well. It's a shame, as a payment service, Afterpay is awesome. But the slowness of the app makes me find other avenues for payment like PayPal Pay in 4. It's exactly the same for others I know on other devices also.
