The app itsself isnt all that bad. In my time using their service though I only had about a 60% rate where I got what I ordered and/or on time. Going back back to Shipt. It might cost a little more but i had a 100% track record with them.

Love instacart my wife and I work crazy hours and it's hard for us to grocery shop. Although instacart are not always great at picking out good produce, its a small price to pay for the convince of having groceries delivered to you.they are always on time and great at comunicating with you. love these guys, keep up the great work!
I just wrote a detailed list that disappeared. Paying lots of compliments to Instacart - from improved online ordering to patient courteous shoppers and friendly deliveries, and Outstanding service from Happiness Team helping resolve any difficulties. All ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Only use the app for big orders. They will charge you $12 delivery charge for an $11 dollar order. Then after a minute they won't let you cancel your order. Thought this would be a good app for 2 working parents trying to save money by cooking home and not spending time shopping. But they over charge and under explain what they are going to do.

Instacart's app is cleanly designed and quick. It does a good job of presenting items to buy, but the search often leaves out items that can be found by searching for something subtly reworded.
I like this app but wished there more stores available like Target, Trader Joe's, etc. Also, not all items available in a store are not available thru the app.
Customer service is great. I only wish the app had a filter option along with the sorting feature
Instacart is a life saver. Very convenient. Helps save Alot of time.
Love it! Great because I can't drive anymore, and you get your items same day within a hour.
It's a good idea but the way we order is too complex to be convenient. For example, on some things it will charge you per ounce instead of per amount that you want and it leads to a lot of confusion between the shopper and what actually gets delivered. Hard to find things you want quickly. Doesnt always include all the selection of the store. Also, if you're only getting a few things it's faster to get it yourself.
I am a mom of two with an often forgetful spouse. I work 65 hrs a week and literally, I can go to my pantry, figure out what I need for dinner, and have someone bring me those groceries. Life saver and the best service ever. I don't overspend on groceries and can spend more time at home. I can also set up deliveries days in advance. I love it.
Overall I like the service. My only peeve is that shoppers should shop in the neighborhood of the delivery. We get too many substitutions because products are not in the store the shopper went to when I know they are at my local neighborhood store. Oh and if there is ice cream or popsicles in the order then don't make that the first thing you put in the basket because it melts. Another reason to shop in the local delivery area.
This is surely a scam. I keep receiving a $5 dollar credit email to try the service. However clicking on the link brings me to the web sign up page every time. I have the app installed already and there is no way to redeem the credit or connect the offer to the app. No promo code is ever provided just a link. Shady marketing to increase app downloads only.
Says their fastest order is 12 minutes, says gets orders instantly the same day hence the name instacart. So i spent an hour shopping on their website to be told at checkout that my order would not be instant or even today. Called and knowbody cared they just said sorry you can schedule an order for the future days we are too busy goodbye. What a waste of time
We don't have a car right now and the nearby grocery stores are expensive. We've managed to keep our food budget under control using Instacart, and I also don't have to carry heavy groceries up a hill!
Awesome app! What a time saver! Would be better if the app accurately displayed the status of order (it says it's complete before it begins) and for some reason does not allow you to directly change your order after placing any more, hopefully your shopper uses the chat feature!
This was worthless. Order was marked delivered by my driver but never came. She had my phone# as the correct info was listed on my acct AND in the notes. Worse, there seems to be no way to report a problem with the order from inside the app
This app is a wonderful tool for someone who hates shopping or just doesn't have the time to get to the market. It's easy to use and customer service is the best! They make it right even if it's my mistake!
First time ordering I made a mistake and called customer service. Spoke to Tyler, he was very kind, understanding, and helpful. I also was able to communicate with my shopper Brad. I read the complaints about bad customer service so far I am very pleased. I was treated with nothing but respect and was kept informed the entire shopping process. Seems to me too many folks have too many thing to complain about. For me its well worth the extra tip and service charges to pay. Thank you Tyler and Brad for making this a very pleasant experience!
Mostly good communication and close to time expected. Biggest complaint would be fresh fruit which has not been chosen to my standard, even having a few moldy strawberries in one package. I just avoid ordering fresh fruit now.
The idea is cool, the app is trash: It said promo code redeemed for 10 dollars off but still charged my card the 10 so I cancelled that order and tried again but then I lost the free delivery bonus and there is no way to contact anyone on the app. My impression: if you have lots of money to spend on the service charge,delivery charge, and higher prices than you would pay in the store, just for convience, then this is a great app for you
Really fantastic service 90% of the time. Just be wary of ordering too late; if the stores are closed, sometimes the app doesn't take that into account when selecting delivery times and you won't know until the shopper attempts to get your order, & it will be pushed back to the next day. Other than that; really great! I use it every week!! :)
First purchase, missing items off of my order. No worries instacart emailed me and told me they would credit my account. Second order, no credit applied to order. So far not impressed with the app or customer service. Can never get anyone to reply to my emails I guess ill just have to start disputing charges with my cardholder. Don't waste your time.
Useless. Says Store is out of simple items, like potatoes, strawberries, and ground beef. Then guess what? I go to the same store I tried to order from, and surprise! There are the potatoes, strawberries, and ground beef. Dumb.
