Easy to use and convenient times
Great service. I wish the app let you apply multiple filters. Right now, you can only sort according to price, popularity, etc. I would also like for the filter to remain permanent or to have a profile you can save, so that the filters you use are always permanently applied. I have also noticed that lower-priced store brands are omitted from the search. It would also be nice if there weren't a $35 minimum for each store. That way, you could get multiple items from different stores without spending so much.
New users, get $10 off your first purchase with my code: LYOSHIURA3 Instacart saved my life after I moved to a new place, farther from Whole Foods. The app is great. Currently on my Android it has a small bug... you select a product, go back, and you can't select again. Otherwise it's perfect!
Great great idea! I love to use it, but it needs to work on reliability. -Sometimes- the groceries show up hours earlier than planned (you have to be home or you're charged), or the shoppers skip items/pick something moldy. However, it's convenient and overall very helpful. Most importantly customer service is amazing if you point out an issue. Once the kinks are worked out this will be an amazing 5 star ap!
Be CAREFUL; Costco has a 15% price markup per agreement (I called); they also don't really recognize store specials (unless you tell them; a hassle), and on top they have the guts to charge you for their service. You are easily overpaying 5-30% per order, in addition to their annual fee. Instacart always wins, and while I like their idea concept, they way they implement it turns out to be a ripoff on the consumer. No such thing as price transparency here folks. If you're willing to pay 5-30% more for convenience, this is your app. Solution? They should provide consumers with the REAL and ACTUAL costs via a receipt, and do better agreements with places such as Costco (or recognize ppl with Costco membership) so consumers don't lose BIG TIME. If I am paying an annual fee for a service I don't expect to keep overpaying for EVERY order. The annual fee seems like a smokescreen. I write this review to make people aware so that Instacart or its competitors do better to consumers.
Instacart is a bunch of crooks. They steal tips from their employees. The app fools you into giving them more money while their drivers get cheated out of tips. Most of their employees are unhappy but need a job so they continue to work for them. I would not recommend this service to anyone.
