Worthless. To connect to a Fire Recast device, it asks me to hit "next", which is (in)conveniently located at the top right of the screen under the status bar where it is impossible to click. Once I figure out a way around that (installing another app which allows full screen mode), I go through the process of connecting, but it hangs on step 5 (out of 6) every time.

The app never seems to be able to find the recast on the network. The firestick connects better, but still iffy. Cannot rely on this for recording... you have to babysit it to make sure it does. Since Amazon killed the Recast they should open-source the software and let those of us in the dev community fix it. These things are destined for the landfill otherwise.

This app is very inconsistent, sometimes it works well, most time it doesn't. It is very frustrating, the most recent failure consists in saying that "there are no channels available" and asks to scan. When scanning, all the channels are found but still not available when the scanning ends. In the meantime all recordings are available and the fire TV stick shows all the expected channels, which means the TV Recast works well.
