About this app

With the official American Express application you can temporarily turn off your Card, receive notifications, check your recent movements, pending charges, balance, the maximum amount of a purchase and accumulated points. And if you're enrolled in the Membership Rewards® program, pay for purchases you've already made with Membership Rewards points. Access quickly and securely with your fingerprint.

Characteristics:
• Access your Account with your fingerprint
• Activate your Card and create your username and password for American Express Online Services
• Remember your username and reset your password when you need it

• Check your recent transactions and balance, including pending charges

• Have access to the Online Services, which you can request in this App. The username and password to access the Online Services are the same to access Amex Spain and americanexpress.es
• The use of Amex Spain is limited to Holders of Personal Cards, Business Cards and Corporate Cards issued directly by American Express Europe, S.A. in Spanish territory.

Ratings and reviews

Does not show movements more than 30 days in thr past. Useless and awful greedy company that charges you insanely high fees if you miss a payment, and all notifications are in Spanish instead of English. I sent them over 2500EUR via bank transfer as a precaution, and I do not know where it has gone.

The app works well. It would be nice to have the following features 1. The date the bill goes to my bank 2. Which bank it goes to and 3. the ability to pre-pay or change the date of payment.

Missing chat. You need to call for whatever issue you have, in 2025 it is ridiculous not to have a support chat option, not everyone likes calling, please try to understand this. Thanks you.
