With the official American Express® Mobile App for Android, you can access your account from anywhere. Pay your bill and take advantage of features only available in the Amex Netherlands App.

WHO CAN USE THE APP?
• Do you already have an online account? Then you can immediately download and use the Amex App. Log in with the same credentials you use on americanexpress.nl.
• No online account yet? Then create it directly via the home screen in the app.

Ratings and reviews

lot better than the previius one, but still missing a lot of features. A secure contact/messengibg option would be my #1 request: calling is not always an option, especially in more remote parts of the world. An internet connection however can usually be found somewhere. Other requested features: points overview, transferring points, making and managing travel reservations, disputing a transaction, etc.

Compared to the one I used on the UK this app is not great, does not have any offers included within, and it does not let you change language, which is odd since mainly expats use it as Dutch people don't tend to have credit cards in the first place, let alone paid credit cards. It would be great if they could have more standarized apps, I think the Dutch version is far too basic and lacks a lot!

The app works well but there are 2 main things missing: selection of a language for the app (not only Dutch but at least English should be added to the app) and also the option (button ) to make a payment directly from the app. The feature of being able to make payments towards the outstanding balance directly from the app, at any time, is extremely essential for this app.
