App is great when it works. It won't let me sign in. I've uninstalled and reinstalled and rebooted my phone. Tried it on another phone, same issue. Either pressing the login button does absolutely nothing or I get an error that says they are have problems logging me in. I'm trying to book a trip and give you money and the app just won't work. Frustrating and hard to understand. Glad I'm not on a trip and needing to use the app! Just tried it on an iPad and it works just fine. Nice.

Easy and logical flow for booking. Especially helpful in-trip. It automatically displays the QR code for the current step in your trip to show your conductor! Beware that the ETA is never right if there is any delay at all. That's an Amtrak system-wide problem, though, so I'm not holding it against the app. You have the same problem if you look online, get text messages, or call their customer service. The only reliable source of info is train conductors.

For the most part this app works well. My only complaint is while trying to look up trains using points or points and cash. It gets stuck and you have to go back to the home screen and start all over again if you want to change any of your choices. An example is going from choosing a roomette to a bedroom. It just freaks out and gets stuck every time.
