AquaSteps brings a step tracker and a relaxing idle aquarium together. Your commute, an evening stroll or a weekend walk can help you collect new fish and build an underwater world of your own. Watch your companions swim, learn about them in the field guide and decorate a tank that reflects your style.

Walk to collect fish

Your steps unlock new companions, from medaka and clownfish to unusual deep-sea creatures. Check your daily steps as you would with a pedometer or step counter, then see what you can discover next. This walking game gives your everyday walks a collection to work toward, without turning them into a competition.

Explore 3 areas and collect 30 creatures

- Freshwater Stream: medaka, sweetfish, catfish and other Japanese freshwater fish.
- Coral Shallows: clownfish, blue tang and graceful manta rays.
- The Deep Sea: anglerfish, oarfish and coelacanths.

Find normal, rare, deep-sea and boss creatures across the three areas. These companions are based on real aquatic life. Open the field guide to read names and fun facts, revisit your discoveries and work toward completing the collection.

A cozy fish tank to watch and enjoy

Watercolor fish drift through your aquarium, with different swimming movements for each species. Take a quiet break with the companions you have collected. Whether you have a few moments after work or a little time between activities, your aquarium offers a gentle scene to return to.

Decorate your underwater world

Walking earns shells to spend on coral, driftwood, aquatic plants and other decorations. Change the sand color and background to shape your own scene. Grow your fish collection and arrange your tank as you explore the ocean, freshwater and deep-sea themes.

An idle game at your own pace

There are no daily quotas. Walking helps you work toward new fish, and on days you do not walk, the aquarium you have built stays with you. Enjoy a relaxed aquarium game without pressure to keep up. Collect a companion, read its field guide entry or simply watch it swim.
