MEATER® is the world’s first Wireless Smart Meat Thermometer that can help you cook meats perfectly every time.

The MEATER® app, together with the MEATER® meat thermometer (sold separately at https://meater.com/shop) will change the way you cook your meals, and make it a new and exciting experience. Using patented software algorithms, the MEATER® app will give you cook time estimates, and guide you towards the juiciest steak, chicken, turkey, fish or other cut of meat that you've ever cooked.

It’s time to break free from the kitchen or grill and let the MEATER® app monitor your food for you. When your food is ready, you'll receive audio and visual notifications on your smart device. This app requires at least one MEATER® probe to operate (sold separately at https://meater.com/shop). The MEATER® app supports all Android devices with Bluetooth® LE (Bluetooth® Smart) support, running Android 8 and Wear OS 3 or later.

Ratings and reviews

1. You need to create an account to log into the app. This is a meat thermometer, yet they insist on logging you in. Imagine if your Bluetooth headphones required their own account. 2. If you walk away from your smoker, the app will start pinging you like crazy that the thermometer is disconnected. Well yeah, how many people are going to hang out in bletooth range while their meat cooks? The range and connectivity options are done badly. 3. Expensive for what it is.

While the probe works, it has never once given me an accurate initial estimate. The app has been giving notifications every 3-5 minutes for a slow roast with no ability to disable them. As for the response, I look forward to your product ignoring the notification spam reported for several years in these reviews. You could always prove me wrong and fix it, though.

I've had the 4 probe Meater for a couple years now. they worked very good one time only. the next time I tried to use them, maybe a couple weeks later, they had a hard time staying connected. every time I try to use them after thst they wouldn't stay connected. tried updating, tried making sure they were fully charged (for a few hours before using) but nothing seems to make them work right. today I'm going to remive them from the app and try to reconnect them. if this doesn't work I'm done.
