New review, same number of stars. Following the major update a month or so ago the app is still terrible and always crashing. The two positives it was supposed to do (only take money after shopping delivered and provide map of where driver is) DO NOT WORK. Edit: a month later, still absolutely awful. Borderline unusable. Have shopped with ASDA for over 20 years, but will be looking elsewhere if it doesn't improve soon. Delivery on 10/10/25. Turned up when the app said it wasn't even on the way.

Asda has a serious problem with checking out online orders, both on the app and web browser. Saved payment cards no longer work, the only way to checkout is to enter a new payment card every time you checkout. It's not a new problem and I've lost delivery slots on more than one occasion because I couldn't pay before the checkout deadline. As for the app, it's horribly slow, multibuy links do not work, searches will only show 2 of 15 results, etc, etc.

Another poor attempt at an app by ASDA. Every time I open it it flashes around preventing me from doing anything for at least a limited before it finally settles. Then I try to search for something and it flashes again and clears my search. Text is so small it's hard to read yet there is no option to change font size. I go on the app to look for something, get annoyed and go elsewhere. Fix your app ASDA and maybe customers will buy from you as everytime it screws up I go elsewhere.
