Ashledger is a portrait investigation game built around clear, single-finger evidence work. A fire destroyed the caravan ledger, leaving only scorched receipts marked with dates, edge stains, and handoff seals. Read the large time on each card, tap a receipt, then tap a numbered slot to place it on the timeline. The symbol on one receipt's right edge must match the symbol on the next receipt's left edge, while required seals may need to be revealed by flipping a card. Every placement advances the visible route. When the evidence conflicts, the desk immediately identifies the problem and guides you to lift a receipt and repair the order.
The playable version contains three complete cases and twelve investigation rounds. The opening round uses guidance driven by actual game state, leading from the earliest receipt through placement, stain matching, route completion, and filing. Later rounds introduce hidden seals, decoy receipts, longer chains, and additional empty slots that allow alternate arrangements. Completing a round presents three Witness Clauses. A clause changes what you can observe, how forgiving the next interaction becomes, or how much reward you may earn, but it never solves the evidence automatically. Charcoal provides limited investigative help. Post Seals earned at closure repair the caravan office, while three Ember Rubbings preserve solved receipts, case stories, and solver-backed route replays.
Advertising is limited to optional recovery or reward choices initiated by the player. A rewarded video may restore the current round, redraw Witness Clauses, grant daily Post Seals, or double the seals from a completed case. Ads never arrange receipts, reveal the final answer, or impose an energy timer. Interstitials are considered only when returning to the office from an inactive docket or after browsing the archive, with a shared cooldown and a visible loading state. Every promotional screenshot in this package was captured from the real Godot game using the GL Compatibility renderer. Ashledger does not claim OCR scanning, generated cases, online multiplayer, or historically sourced records.
