If you're living or traveling in South Africa, this app is a must. I operate a remote business that requires wifi and meetings overseas, so it's critical to plan for load shedding. This app makes that easy. The user interface is intuitive, and it's easy to find the information you need. You can follow multiple areas at once to coordinate around load shedding, which is really nice. This app makes checking load shedding like checking the weather.

This app is a useful tool when we are dealing with loadshedding. It's the first thing I check on my phone in the morning to plan my day. I write on a tile in my kitchen with a non permanent koki pen my schedule for the next 2 days, and it prevents having to keep checking the app on my phone. I set my reminder to 55 mins, and this works for me, especially when there are numerous slots in a day. Makes a challenging situation easier to manage

The recent updates are really just downgrades, some areas which used to indicate that there will be load reduction no longer indicate. instead the app writes lies like "300 and something days since load shedding" but we know very well that load reduction occurs every week, more than twice. and everytime it's gone, the power is out for 5 hours. it would be nice if the app stated that load reduction is still ongoing.
