More versatile than Google's orffering, as it seems to support more sites. But any chance you can add support for Yandex's 2FA? I haven't found any 3rd party apps which do. Custom icons would be nice too. Like a lot of people, I have multiple Google accounts. It's hard to tell them apart when they all use the same default icon.
Great replacement for the Google Authenticator but sorely missing two features: 1. Fingerprint support: for an app focused on security this seems like a day 1 feature. I don't know why it's still missing while the iOS version had it since Apple added Touch ID. 2. Android Wear support
Authy as a service does not deliver SMS reliably. And the only alternative is to use this propietary app to generate codes. No HOTP or TOTP that are widespread and acessible across all the apps, no. Just some propietary app that you trust to store your secrets. Very disappointed that authy forces their own opinion on how the security should be implemented.
It may looks good but I have been looking to see if the team would respond to the comments if I see one I do not see two. What's made you people to trust this app so bad to use it while developer team is not answering to any complaints? I am thinking about using this app.
Some Stuff Missing Specifically logos. I'd really like if the app just has a catalogue of sites that utilise 2 Factor Authentication. If not that, allow users to import the logos themselves. It's not very appealing to see generic coloured keys.
Account recovery is frustrating. Works great until your phone breaks. Turns out you have to wait 24 hours for them to "process" the recovery, rendering all the backups utterly useless. You can approve an installation from another device, but if you're traveling, then you're just SOL. Maybe this is is big bold letters somewhere and I'm just blind. I also understand the security purpose behind it, and probably should have guessed this was the case. Unfortunately, this is absolutely catastrophic for me as a feature I relied on does not work as I was lead to believe. I will unfortunately cease to recommend Authy and actively encourage those I know who use to seek another solution.
Bug fixes and OneTouch improvements. Removed permission to get accounts on the device.
Two Factor Authentication by Spriv is Automatic, fast, cheap and highly accurate
