Ratings and reviews

Having a syncing 2FA app is wonderful! I kept being locked out when I forgot my phone or worrying what backup code I wouldn't find if it went dead. Now I'm safe, knowing that it's synced somewhere (though disputably less secure). However, service icons have not evolved for years now, though many more services are now 2FA-enabled, sometimes advertising Authy. I've a bunch of services. Having proper icons for each would make life easier. Please add icons let us upload or own or make requests.

Used for almost 10 years, but it's now a useless authenticator app. Refuses to let me scroll my entries on my S22 Ultra... I tried cleared cache, un-installed and reinstalled the app; nothing. I use this for work security passwords and am now locked out of multiple accounts until I can migrate to another alternative! There is also NO option for accounts exporting. Absolutely ridiculous.

I restored my phone to factory setting and downloaded authy again. This app won't grant me access to my account and I remember every detail I used. It has been saying I can't use authy on multiple device. This is the same old device I just restored a factory setting. At least log me in with my details. Nothing has changed apartment from restoring my phone's factory setting.

What's new

The Authy app can now, server side, dynamically increase the amount of rounds of password-based key derivation function for encrypting seeds, making passwords harder to brute force. This allows the app to adapt to the ever increasing compute power. We are leveraging this new feature to make passwords 100 times more resistant to brute force attacks.
