While it is typically diagnosed in childhood, a diagnosis could be delayed until adulthood - especially for those with high functioning autism.

The answers you can choose from are all incorrect answers. None of the questions are 100% Yes or no but the answers are "never" and "always" answers. It's got potential, I appreciate that it's free, you can share the results and it gives resources at the end. It's a good start for an app. I'd try other apps from this developer for sure. More answer options needed! 16 yrs isn't a good indicator of maturity for asp. Ppl w developmental delays can mature years, sometimes decades later. Many high functioning asp have vastly different strengths, talents & social skills from one another; read nonverbal language with practice, study and exposure, but still have social anxiety and trouble in some situations. I could not answer most of the questions accurately. Therefore, this app is essentially useless.

it is a very short test, but it does give sources to further your search if you so choose. I wanted to use it to occasionally redo the test to see how the answers would change. masking for so long can cloud how I THINK I actually interact with people or act. so sometimes I have to think harder or for longer to even figure out if something is true or not 🥴
