I love this app, but there's 1 thing that needs added. I'm an aspiring author & am using the app for writing my stories. The notes cannot be named or have subtitles, therefore the story title and chapter headings have to be added into the note itself, which messes with the word count of the story. Also, it would be nice if there was a FAQ installed that explained all features of the app. One of the features is a check box next to the word "Publish." Publishes to WordPress? That won't help me. 😩

Simplenote has most of want you want in a simple text note taking app. It supports search result navigation within individual notes (not quite searching within a note, but close enough), note sharing/collaborating, tagging &c. It also keeps note histories so you can potentially roll back if there's a synchronization error or accidental deletion. However, this doesn't always prevent data loss. I was editing a note offline, and when my phone reconnected, the note suddenly reverted before my eyes.

Simplenote has been up and down over the years. When working, it's great and the UI is nice! But sometimes it doesn't work. Recently the UI seems to glitch and not show text in some places. Worse, sometimes the app silently stops syncing notes. Edits made to notes on my phone are not synced and edits made on my PC overwrite the phone, causing me to lose work. The app seems to run into this bug periodically, sometimes requiring a reinstall to fix.
