Simple...and that is the truth. Can't set a higher minimum payment, can't change personal information without calling or emailing. And, they lowered my credit limit for no reason, then when the horrible customer service told me they could do nothing about it after escalating to management, they later automatically restored it, then raised it shortly after. Guess they then noticed my absolutely perfect payment history. Great stepping stone, horrible creditor.

April 2, 2024: Great starting out line of credit, the app is user friendly, and the option to use debit card or ACH for payment is nice. Unfortunately Avant does not allow Google or Apple pay. There is no option to set up mobile, email, and push alerts and that is a serious security concern which should be resolved immediately. Very high interest rate so I recommend paying the balance in full each month. I will give an update in 60 days. Let's resolve those issues and shoot for five stars!

every part of the process has been smooth except for when I had to call in when my card got locked trying to use it to get gas at Sam's club and Costco. The person on the other end of the phone did not seem to be very capable. I also got some weird message that just played randomly that sounded like someone hanging up on me. The issue eventually did get resolved but it seemed a little shaky
