App will not connect, but phone will. I was able to setup the camera per the instrucrions in the manual. Initially got a message stating that the app was made for an older android version, after that, it states the "Application evice cannot connect to Type S DVR06 4K" and keeps trying and trying only to keep displaying the same error message. App seems to br a waster of time. What is supposed to be the benefit of the app? Definitely not an easier setup experience......

Concept very attractive but reliance on the embedded network is likely to be disappointing. It takes a very long time to connect so it's somewhat limited. The instructions SEEM to say that it runs in the back ground so each time l come back to it, l should be able to see the back up image without connecting... that is not my experience at all. each time I must painfully wait for another launch... maybe l am missing something. if the live view were always available, my rating would change.

Update 2 (2021): After updates...still doesn't remember devices...lags to connect. Update: for all intents and purposes...useless. Why does this app keep needing to re-pair all the time. Why can't it remember the last device it was paired to? After all, how many camera's do they really think people will use this with? One camera most likely. And if anything...give you a list of "paired devices" that you've previosuly paired with. Takes a long time to connect.
