* View your latest balance and available credit
* See what you’ve spent and where, including pending transactions

* View your digital statements
* Pay your bill and review earlier payments
* Manage your Direct Debit
* Manage your credit limit
* Activate your Barclaycard
* Add additional cardholders to your account
* Transfer a balance from a non-Barclaycard credit card

Before you get started

To maintain your privacy and security, this app isn’t available on rooted devices. Instead you can access your account on your mobile by going online to barclaycard.mobi. Please note that the app doesn't support Intel processors.

To use the Barclaycard App you’ll need a UK mobile number to register.

If you’ve got a Barclays current account you’ll also be able to view and manage this account using the Barclaycard app.

no way of freezing the card in case of a fraud case. The way things are going lately, I think it's important that you can do this so it can be done quickly rather than having to phone the fraud team and go through the call centre rubbish just to freeze the card. This could save barclays and the customers thousands in fraud cases. If you can freeze your credit card on the app, me and 3 other people couldn't find it easily.

Not enough characters allowed for a proper explaination so here's the short version. I wanted the screens shown here - they are not in the app. I didn't want information about my Barclays account included - it is included, without the option. It duplicates the Barclays app with the exception of the one feature I wanted. tl/dr - worse than useless.

App took a long time to do, but finally managed to let me register after 45 mins (slow loading, and as others have mentioned, come out of the app to view verification code in text and it dumps you back to the start of the registration process). App worked for approx an hour, now as soon as I log in using either biometrics or the pass code, it just comes up with the 00002 error code when trying to load my account. Great first impression. No idea how to fix it.
