My previous camera from a different manufacturer died on me. This Bluram cam has a relatively easy setup and a surprisingly crisp picture. I even use it on the front porch railing exposed to the elements and have no issues, though it's rated for indoor use. Great price as well. My only criticism is that it doesn't have an app that works with Microsoft Windows.

The ads really take away from enjoying this app. It's incredibly frustrating to open the app to check a camera and be faced with ads you can't close or when it appears you can close them instead it opens the ad making it feel like a puzzle to "get" to view my camera. Just make the ads less intrusive and difficult to deal with instead of filling screen with no obvious button to close it.

Random ads will alert you all day...if you don't purchase the subscription, you will get multiple random alerts as if the camera sensed something, but it's just bottom-feeding advertising. You cannot disable the ad alerts without disabling all alerts...poor business model in my opinion, will be replacing this with a product from a less predatory company. 8-13-2025 newest update will have the system alert you of human movement & not record anything, but hit you with ads...reduced my score to suit
