About this app

Access your BMO InvestorLine Self-Directed and adviceDirect accounts using your existing Client ID or your BMO Nesbitt Burns portfolio using your online Gateway ID.

Get an aggregated view of your InvestorLine or Nesbitt Burns holdings and account details with Portfolio View and set up custom watchlists to monitor stocks and market trends you want to follow.

Use Fingerprint Biometrics to access your accounts with ease and improved security.

For InvestorLine Self-Directed and adviceDirect clients:
Place trades, move money and get a snapshot of your holdings and investments. Quickly trade your stocks, ETFs, and mutual funds. adviceDirect clients can access personalized buy and sell recommendations with 24/7 account monitoring.

For Nesbitt Burns clients:
Sign up to view statements, tax documents and trade confirmations online. Choose to be alerted by email when a new document is available.

You must be registered with BMO InvestorLine to use the BMO Invest app to access your InvestorLine Self-Directed or adviceDirect accounts. Simply sign on to BMO InvestorLine with your Client ID to get started. If you are not registered with BMO InvestorLine, visit www.bmo.com/investorline .

You must register for and access Gateway online via www.bmo.com to use the BMO Invest app to access your Nesbitt Burns portfolio. Your Nesbitt Burns Investment Advisor can help you get set up or contact the Gateway Helpdesk gateway.helpdesk@bmonb.com.

Just like many others have reported, this app does not get past authentication. For me, it stopped working a couple weeks ago. It always gets stuck at the page where it asks for the 6 digit secret code. I enter the code, click on the button, and the button changes its label to a check mark, then nothing happens. Stuck. I've tried clearing the cache, restarting the app/phone, and reinstalling, but nothing worked. Meanwhile, the PC website works flawlessly. So it is clearly not a credential issue.

Edit: This keeps getting worse. Now you can't see asks and bids while viewing your watchlist?! BMO is deliberately sabotaging it's customers! I've lost all the ability I had with the old app when I tried this one. No more level 2 quotes? Disgusting. Navigation is not fluid at all. Access to switch and look at different companies is a pain. All in all terrible. 0 stars. Another Edit: Requires code EVERY TIME you sign in. -5 stars now. Total bunk app and bank.

Unable to log in for almost a month already. Login in the browser works, so the issue is in the app. Edit: yes you do have issues, I'm reporting it here. My password is fine, it works using the pc but not in the app. My account is also linked with the normal bmo app and launching bmo invest from there also doesn't work.
