The eBike Flow app makes the riding experience on your eBike with the smart system from Bosch safer, more personalised and more comfortable. Give your eBike additional protection against theft, plan routes and use smart navigation, personalise your riding modes, customise the display and track your activities. The eBike Flow app gives you a clear overview of all the information about your eBike, such as the distance travelled, current battery status or the next service appointment. This way, you always have an overview and can enjoy your next ride.

Theft protection with eBike Lock and eBike Alarm
eBike Lock and eBike Alarm are the ideal complement to the mechanical lock: eBike Lock is your free additional theft protection. Lock and unlock your eBike automatically using your phone or display as a digital key. Protect your eBike even better with the eBike Alarm premium service: with GPS tracking, notifications and alarm signals on the eBike.

Always up to date with updates over-the-air
Updates ensure that your eBike is always up to date and gets even better. You can simply download new eBike functions and transfer them to your eBike via Bluetooth.

route planning
With the eBike Flow app, you can plan your next Tour to perfection: customise the route with map details and a route profile to suit your needs – or import existing routes from komoot or via GPX.

Navigation with phone or display
Navigate with your display or use your phone on the handlebar. No matter what you’re riding with, you have all the important riding data at a glance and can conveniently control and stop the navigation via your control unit.

Activity tracking
The eBike Flow app records your riding data as soon as you set off. In the statistics, you will find valuable insights into your tour and fitness data – to analyse and share, synchronised with Strava.

Riding modes perfectly customised to you.
With the eBike Flow app, you can customise the riding modes to suit you perfectly. Adapt the support, dynamics, maximum torque and maximum speed to your requirements.

Display configuration
Customise the screen layout of your Kiox 300, Kiox 500 or Purion 200 to suit your preferences. With over 30 customisation options, you decide for yourself what you see on your display while riding.

Ratings and reviews

Liked it overall, but since the last update (1.24.6) there is a big overlay screen after startup reminding me that I can try out the Flow+ subscription one year for free. Unfortunately this screen cannot be clicked away, the X button on the top left is doing nothing. So the only thing working now is displaying my phone's battery status on the Kiox. All other functions are unusable right now simply because they cannot be accessed any more. Please update! Edit: Problem solved after reinstallation.

It is generally a good app with some flaws that need addressing. My biggest problem with it is that it sometimes will and sometimes won't log rides when the phone automatically connects to my bike. To make sure it does I always have to manually open the app. Also it lacks info for the battery usage in the logs which I would highly appreciate. Apart from routes it lacks the ability to store a couple addresses, like home or work.

The app is very easy to understand, stable and does what it is supposed to do. You can easily see details about your bike, even has a documents section to keep invoices and other stuff backed up. Data sync happens pretty fast and alsp gets uploaded to your connections like Strava automatically.

What's new

With immediate effect, you can use two of the Flow+ subscription's functions without the ConnectModule." Extended navigation" and "additional statistics" – and try them out thanks to the free trial period. To use "eBike Alarm" and "current charge level", your eBike must be equipped with the ConnectModule. A new button allows you to access the ride screen from anywhere in the eBike Flow app with just one click. It adapts its appearance depending on the activity or eBike status.
