Can't even create an account. I'm an early adopter of the Joule, back when it was chefsteps. since then the app has gone down hill and with the switch to Breville, it's apparent that they care less and less for maintaining customer and want people to keep buying the same product relabeled as an "upgrade". They are switching to their new app in 2026 and forcing Joule users to switch. I am not able to create an account and the troubleshooting website doesn't list this as a common issue.

app sucks.... I want to quickly use it as a guide to set the temperature for the desired doneness for my meat of choice. This usually doesn't provide that information and tries to sell you their products. it provides lots of recipes. It replaced the" Joule " app that did exactly what I wanted. The updates and improvements make it to annoying for me to continue using....

Locks you out if you need to make dinner in a hurry. Haven't used my Joule Turbo in awhile and got a new phone and was looking to try to get something ready for dinner in a hurry. Got locked out of my account and need to wait 15!? minutes to sign back in. So stupid. defeats the purpose of these connected products and purported convenience of Breville products. I want things with physical buttons again.
