Can not get the app to work right on my android phone over wifi. Very frustrating. The only way I can is to use wifi direct, then need to save file as a pdf file and print it that way. Even only being able to print with wifi direct with a saved pdf file for documents, usually have to try twice. The first time always gives an error. Not happy. Brother company, get your act together. Total corporate greed at its finest.

Printer is usually grayed out and cannot be re-added ("cannot add printer"). This has been a problem for years and brother just ignores it. They'd better fix it soon or I'll be buying laser printers from someone else. Update 2 years later: still not working. Still the same issue. I have always been a fan of these laser printers but this is unacceptable and extremely irritating.

Completely nonfunctional. None of the buttons do anything. Edit: The link Brother shared in their reply does not appear to contain a listing for this app via which I could request support, nor any general support request option. To be clear, when you download this app, there are three buttons: "Find Wi-Fi Direct Machine", "Find Bluetooth machine", and "Light Mode Settings". All three can be clicked; the first time, location permissions are requested, after that, absolutely nothing happens.
