• Your Contacts: We need access to your contacts so that you can invite your friends to chat or join you after you've booked your tickets. We ask for your contact permission for a bunch of features like chat, sharing tickets with friends. Your information will be kept confidential.
• Read and Receive SMS: We need this permission to enable our app to read your One-Time-Password SMS and automatically enter the code while completing the payment. Your privacy will be respected, and no information will be saved.

Very disappointing customer support experience. I requested ticket cancellation well in advance and clearly agreed to bear the applicable cancellation charges. Despite this, the customer support team was completely unhelpful and refused to assist, giving generic responses without any real resolution. For a platform as big as BookMyShow, this level of customer service is unacceptable. When users are willing to follow the rules and pay the cancellation cost, basic support should be provided.

I booked a ticket for the wrong date. When I tried to change the date, there was no option available in the app. I contacted customer care through the in-app chat, but Ms. Khushi did not respond for more than 30 minutes. Finally, I had to cancel my ticket. I have informed everyone not to use this app for booking tickets. It’s better to book directly at the counter or through the official website.

Doesn't apply offer even if using the card with offer. Have to search for offer than apply and pay, otherwise does not work even if paying with same card. Default takes full amount. Charges huge cancellation fees!! Switching to District, will never use this app again.
