In my experience, there is one pop-up ad when you first open the app, and within the articles themselves, there are ads scattered between paragraph making the reading experience slightly disruptive. The issue to me however, is how I'm paying for a newspaper service that crashes when I want to read the paper. After scrolling for some time, it crashes and I have to scroll to that article again. TL;DR: 1. Lots of ads but tolerable 2. App crashes often and is inconvenient

Using SPH issued tablet (samsung galaxy tab A, SM-T510) with latest app update, using reading downloaded "Print" version with internet connected. 1) keeps showing Error msg: "Something went wrong during the download. Please try again later". Actually the "print version" of paper is downloaded successfully. 2) app keeps crashing. Either Screen freeze, or blank page, or not loading content Please address these issues. Thank you.

Ever since the latest update in Jan 2026, the app is SUPER BUGGY AND LAGGY to the point I can't even read the news anymore. It loads for 30 seconds only to crash after that. It crashes consistently be it in the morning, afternoon, evening, regardless of location. Ridiculous. Previous versions were fine.
