Continuous Audio Playback: To play your soundscapes, a foreground service (Media Playback type) is used. A persistent notification with playback controls appears in your status bar and on the lock screen, so you always have control and know that sounds are active.

Efficient Content Delivery: For access to our extensive sound libraries, Sonora utilizes Google's "Play Asset Delivery" system. This enables the efficient download of new sound packages, guaranteeing you a smooth and fast content provision. During these downloads, another foreground service (Data Sync type) may be active to secure the progress.

I have just installed it and am already amazed by the quality of the app and the sounds! 🔸 -Edit after a few time using it: I still love it and I hope the team will continue to record the sounds themselves because it's rare nowadays and very precious to not have any AI slop. EDIT 2: I appreciate your transparency and agree with the need to rewrite the ai assistant part in the development section, I was really worried 😫

I downloaded it a couple weeks ago to try and see if it could help me sleep better, and honestly, it's great. sure, not all sounds are free, but the ones that are, are great! I honestly love this app and all the noises and things that can help you sleep on it
