The Camp Chef app introduces a bold, new convenient way to cook outdoors.

Control your grill from your phone
Tastiness is only a tap away! Use the Camp Chef app to connect to your WIFI/Bluetooth enabled pellet grill. You’ll be able to set and monitor temperatures, adjust smoke levels, and shut down your grill from your mobile device.


Monitor your cook
Actively monitor the temperature of your grill and meat probes on your phone. Set and enable pop-up notifications for grill timers or once meat probe goal temperatures have been met. Have the ability to connect and monitor your grill from anywhere, as if you were standing beside your grill.


Your data stored on all your devices
By creating an account through the Camp Chef app, your grill’s cook data is available to you at all times on all your mobile devices. Seamlessly switch between multiple Camp Chef grills. Historical cook graphs (coming soon) will allow you to view the results of a specific cook over time. These graphs will grant you access to information and insights allowing you to view what went well and what you would change.

Stopped letting me set temperatures for probes This app worked well for a number of months only to have the probes no longer allow me to set the max temps... So while I think it's great that I can check on the smoker remotely without having to be standing next to it... If something comes up and I forget to check it often, it'll stand a chance if ruining the meat. I just bought a competing brands remote thermometer and I di to even bother with the Camp Chef probes anymore.

Absolutely a nightmare to use. Constantly gets stuck and I need to exit the app and restart to be able to change temperature or smoke level. 1 time froze on a "set alert" screen which I also can not even access. Good thing I bought my woodwind pro for the smoke box and not the wifi. This is a joke. makes the thermometers pretty useless if the app is so buggy.

I'm in agreement with all of the low ratings for this app. Although I can connect to the grill, the app continously looses it's connection and I have to wrestle with it to reconnect. This happens even with an access point literally 10 feet away. This is a problem, particularly during overnight cooks when I want to check the progress without leaving the comfort of my bed. The grill is a solid performer, but the app is pretty much garbage.
