App Permissions and Data Privacy
To ensure an optimal user experience, the Carbinox Max App requires specific permissions to access features such as Bluetooth, location, phone calls, text messages, contacts, call history, and the BIND NOTIFICATION LISTENER SERVICE. The App utilizes the Notification Listener Service to obtain message push content, enabling the message push function to deliver content to the smartwatch.

This is solely intended for a faster and more convenient user experience. CARBINOX strictly adheres to data privacy standards; the Carbinox Max App cannot view, upload, or save any of your private information.

The Carbinox Max App is currently compatible with the CARBINOX EDGE. Compatibility is expected to be extended to more upcoming CARBINOX smartwatch models in the future.

first smartwatch , very unimpressed . there is no manual , at all , not on web , not on their site , nothing , and dealing with them online is like pulling teeth , almost no help at all . app forever disconnects . I've spent months trying to figure out what the issue is to no avail . when it works , it works well and does what I need , but with the inconsistent connection I can not depend on it . oh , and BTW , when talking to them direct I was told , " hunt and peck to figure it out"

I have mixed feelings about the app/watch. The watch is nice and no issues with that. But THE BLUETOOTH CONNECTION is HORRIBLE. It does not stay connected. I have done all of the troubleshooting, as provided by the website and yet it STILL keeps disconnecting throughout the day. There are other watches/apps that never disconnect. It's a pain to constantly connect over and over throughout the day. Had I known I was going to have to do this, I would have NEVER gotten the watch. But, I have it now.

4 month daily use review. Disconnects from watch constantly. Reminders don't alert when they should. alarms dont alert when they should. Can only convert main units to US Customary, everything else stays in metric. Very annoying. Same with 12h vs 24h clock. Went from Garmin to this and really wanted to like the Edge but wish I'd bought another Garmin. Overall operation is very spotty and clunky.
