I am trying to get away from Audible, but man this app kind of sucks. Multiple reasons... I have a pixel 7a, and the app is up to date, but yet it too often does not play after I press play. I am in this constant cycle of restarting the app, finding my spot again +because it also doesn't keep your spot if it 'crashes' and refuses to play. Second, I don't like that there isn't a way to see how many total hours/minutes you have read. Not just what you have left.

Playback is constantly stopping, and I have to go into the app and press play every 10-20 minutes to keep it going. Even when I use the downloaded version of a book on Airplane Mode, it still stops abruptly. This is very annoying. The app used to be more reliable for continued, uninterrupted playback. Is there something that can fix it? *Note: I've sent an email to the contact center regarding this issue.

Finally! Audiobooks like I want them! No monthly fee making me feel bad for not reading enough. You simply buy the book and read it. What makes it so great though is the constant sub $5 offers for a lot of books. If you pay attention you can get what you want for far less than other audiobook services. The app is good, not the best, but better than many and the selection is great. I feel I'm going to stay with Chirp for a long time!
