About this app

iRent is Taiwan’s first “24-hour self-service car rental service” launched by Heyun Mobile Service
Easily complete reservations, pick up, pay, and return the car through the app, and rent and return the car at any time
We also provide rental services for motorcycles and cars, allowing you to choose freely.

You can use Wear OS wearable devices to perform basic functions of rented iRent vehicles (including opening and closing doors).

Member login: Before using the iRent self-service car rental service, you must first become a member. Join now and enjoy now!
Reservation/Cancellation of Car Rental: Reservations are available 24 hours a day. Making an appointment is super convenient!!
Pick up the car: Check the car number in the order to pick up the car. Fast and convenient!
Extension of car use: Application for extension in advance is allowed as long as it does not affect the rights and interests of customers who make subsequent reservations.
Return the vehicle: Park the vehicle back to the location specified by the project, confirm the condition of the vehicle and make payment, then complete the return of the vehicle. Returning your car is easy and fast!

Ratings and reviews

The app is far too complicated and time-consuming. The registration process requires uploading one document after another, and there always seems to be additional information or documents needed. I would not recommend using this service. It’s much easier and more convenient to use Uber or other ride-hailing/taxi services instead.

Mostly Chinese only. Cumbersome, as well and identification expired despite saying okay under each setting. Could only guess what needed to be verified again. Would not recommend.

They literally release an update to their app once or twice a month. With every update their app gets worse and worse. I bought a monthly plan for irent recently and was using the old app. Suddenly they decide to do a major update to the app. When I use the app, it constantly crashes and is slow to load. Also, it asks me to upload my drivers licenses again. So, did you lose the data?? I uploaded it again and now the app tells me to wait two days! Customer service never picks up phone! Avoid!
